The Saraswati River of Vedic Fame, the Fountainhead of Indian Civilization, disappeared from the sub-continental historical radar some 4000 years ago, consequent upon a tectonic upheaval. This website is an ernest endeavour to scientifically delineate the fluvial existence, demise and resurrection of the river that was the Presiding Deity of India's cultural ethos.

This TIMELINE delineates the various areas in the Sapta Sindhu Kshetra of the sub-continent that were personally visited by the author in the quest of the Lost River Saraswati.
